How Much Does TRT Cost?
At Balance My Hormones, we believe private Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) in the UK should be easily accessible to those who need it and treatment costs should be transparent. We offer competitive pricing for our premium, doctor-led service, with options designed to fit every budget — from monthly all-inclusive TRT packages to flexible pay-as-you-go treatments.
To start TRT, you’ll need two blood tests confirming you have low testosterone levels — a basic test and a comprehensive hormone test. These can be ordered individually or as a bundle at a reduced price, making it easier and more affordable to begin your TRT journey with confidence.
We also offer flexible monthly TRT plans, tailored around the medication and support you need, so you can feel your best and have peace of mind while on TRT with Balance My Hormones.

Blood Test 1
At-Home Testosterone Blood Test
This is where most people begin their TRT journey — with a simple at-home blood test. We offer a few convenient testing options, making it easy to get started.
Available Testing Options
At-Home Fingerprick Test – £35
Collect your own blood sample easily at home using our fingerprick test kit. Everything you need for the test is included.
At-Home Tasso Device – £49.99
A simple, mess-free self-collection blood test using the Tasso device. This full kit provides a convenient way to test your testosterone levels from home.
If you find fingerprick testing difficult or would prefer to have your sample taken venously, please contact us. We can arrange for your test to be carried out at one of our partner clinics or by a qualified nurse at your home or workplace.
Blood Test 2
Advanced Hormone Blood Test
In the UK, men must have two confirmed low testosterone readings to be eligible for testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). If your initial testosterone test indicates a low level, this follow-up blood test is the next step to confirm your results. It provides a comprehensive view of your hormone health, analysing key biomarkers and blood indicators to give a full picture of your wellbeing.
This is a venous blood test only, which must be taken by a qualified professional. You can choose to have your sample collected at one of our partner clinics, or arrange for a visit from our nursing team to your home or workplace for added convenience. If you already know someone who is professionally trained to take venous samples, they can also carry out the test for you.
Venous Blood Test Kit – £99
Arrange your own sample collection with a trained medical professional using our convenient test kit.
Venous Blood Test with Clinic Visit – £144
Book an appointment at one of our partner clinics across the UK to have your blood sample professionally collected.
Venous Blood Test with Home Nurse Visit – £174
Enjoy the convenience of having one of our experienced partner nurses visit your home or workplace to collect your sample.

● Your prescribed medications (Testosterone or Testosterone & HCG)
● Blood tests (including any clinic visits)
● Follow-up consultations with your doctor

Pay-As-You-Go Option
Alternatively, we offer flexible treatment options priced between £90–£150 per month, where blood tests and doctor consultations are purchased separately as needed.

Blood Testing & Consultation Schedule
Your blood testing schedule is designed to ensure your treatment remains safe and effective:
● 6 weeks after starting treatment
● 6 months after starting
● 12 months, and then once annually thereafter
Doctor consultations are scheduled at 6 months and 12 months, followed by annual reviews to monitor your ongoing progress and adjust your treatment if needed.
Blood testing is compulsory and must be completed within a reasonable time frame. Failure to complete your tests may result in your treatment being paused by the doctor. Patients who do not complete their blood tests are significantly more likely to experience issues with their protocol. These tests are essential to allow your doctor to make any necessary adjustments to your treatment plan.
